3D printing
We have several 3D printers
For prototypes and small series
We operate two 3D printers for the production of usable prototypes, for example for model racing. The parts are used actively in international racing events. We can process many thermoplastic materials (printing temperature up to over 400 ° C), we have a large heated chamber (400x300x300mm) which can be used for large components or a large number of small parts. This enables us to economically manufacture small parts even in large quantities. We can print with two different materials, one material can also be used as a support material, which gives us great freedom of design in connection with good surfaces.

Details
Our printers work according to the FDM (Fused deposit modeling) principle. Here, thermoplastic material in filament form ("plastic wire") is fed, heated and extruded through a nozzle. The nozzle moves in a plane and thus creates a layer of the component. When a layer is complete, the build platform is lowered and the next shift is created. The FDM process stands out among the 3D printing processes due to its cost-effectiveness and, depending on the load direction, very good strength properties. Although it is not ideal for more complex geometries, it offers sufficient flexibility for many products. We use it, for example, for suspension parts in model racing, and replace injection molded parts here. This creates a great deal of flexibility in varying the axis kinematics. If the parts are optimized for the manufacturing process, good durability can be achieved, so that the parts can be used without any problems in tough competition, where wheel-to-wheel duels are common and touches to the wall sometimes occur. Holes with accuracy requirements can be routinely re-drilled.
We have a Sindoh 3DWOX 1 for simple prints in ABS and a Creatbot F430 for larger parts, larger quantities and other materials. We also print carbon fiber reinforced material.
We also offer a revision of your parts so that they can be easily printed using the FDM process, and we can also produce with our partners in any other process. Of course we are also happy to support you in the design of your components and selection of materials.
Whatch us play on our Sample application, we designed curbs for our 1/76 RC Car race track in our office. We printed the curbs and some of the guardrails on our 3D printers.
